Get set for a spectacular celebration of Scottish history & action! In its 47th year, the Savannah Scottish Games are taking place on the beautiful grounds of Historic Bethesda Academy. It is a grand celebration of Scottish heritage, with celtic music, Scottish clans/societies, pipe bands, highland dancing, heavy athletic events (athletes throwing telephone poles), children's activities, sheep herding, birds of prey, genealogy, tug-of-war, hurling, living history demonstrations, food, refreshments and fun for the entire family. With more than 4,500 people participating in this special event each year, Savannah Scottish Games is one of the Southeast's most unique celebrations of all things Celtic.
